Does it provide Containment?
Yes, more then 110% containment for 200 gallon (910L) and 250
(1130L) gallon storage tanks.
How do I get access to the tank after it is installed?
The lid hinges on the fill and vent pipes and lifts for complete
inspection of the tank and tank gauge from the opposite side of
the piping.
How is the tank placed in the tub?
Lay the tub on its side and slide the tank into the basin, bring
both the tub and tank upright together. Pipe the tank as directed
and slide
on the lid.
Do I still need to use the Tank Tray in the Tank Tub?
No, the Tank Tub is a free standing complete containment system.
Can I use the Tank Alarm in the Tank Tub?
Yes. The alarm is battery operated and the oil sensitive float, attached
to the tank leg, will indicate a storage leak.
Can I pull oil from the bottom of the tank?
It is not recommended and was not encouraged by UL.
Why is UL listing important?
For 3 years, UL tested the high density polyethylene for longevity,
strength and its integrity to fight the elements, oil exposure and
protect a storage tank of failure. Installed as directed,The Tank
Tub will not rot, rust or crack.
Does it have a warranty?
Yes, 20 Year Limited Liability.
Is it available in different colors?
Yes, Hunter Green, White, Two Tone Beige and Grey.
What surface should the Tank Tub be installed on?
Please consult with local fire codes. The most common installation
is on pre-fab patio stones or crushed fines. Pad must be level.
